- I had worked in industry as a drafter/designer for 11 years. I then started working for a technical college, teaching AutoCAD to business and industry personnel. After 12 years of doing that, I started teaching technical drafting and AutoCAD within the Mechanical Design Technology Associate in Applied Science program. I expanded the offerings at the technical college to include a Mechanical CAD Drafting Technical Diploma and a CAD Management Advanced Certificate. I also teach courses using Autodesk Inventor.
